Stand in front of the mirror if you want to your body Radhika to scribe

Radhika Apte, the ‘Kumudavalli’ of superstar Rajinikanth’s latest hit film Kabali and who has courted controversy by appearing in semi-nude/nude sequences in her latest Hindi film Parched, has told a scribe that if he wanted to see a nude body, he would better stand in front of the mirror and undress himself instead of watching her films.
Produced by national award-winning actor Ajay Devgn, Parched was critically acclaimed but the film’s intimate sex-sequences involving Adil Hussain, Radhika Apte, Tannishta Chatterjee and Surveen Chawla, have taken precedence over its script, described as ‘emotionally disturbing and thought-provoking’ by The Times Of India.
Reacting to the leaked sequences in the film, Radhika told the scribe that it was wrong on his part to address this question to her. “People like you spread controversies; you watched those footages and shared it with your friends. As such, it’s not me but you are the origin of this controversy. I’m an actress and I get paid to do my job in films.
“If you watch global films, you would know what actually happens on the sets when such intimate sequences are shot. On my part, I don’t feel bad about anything. Only those who are not comfortable with their own bodies tend to look keenly at others’ bodies. If you want to have a look at a nude body, don’t watch my films but stand in front of a mirror, undress yourself and enjoy,” Radhika shot back sharply!
